Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities
College to Career Day
Join our Scholar Bridge Network as they support our college scholars with their transition from their college education to their professional careers. This all-day event will focus on various aspects around internships.
October 14, 2017
Now in its 20th year, this inspiring, information-packed event includes college preparatory workshops for high school students of all grade levels, inspirational speakers, a campus tour, and an extensive college fair. Volunteers are needed to assist with event logistics ranging from set up, registration, chaperoning, lunch, and assisting college representatives during the college fair.
Scholarship Selection Committee
Last year, the Fulfillment Fund distributed $356,750 in scholarships to students. We are looking for volunteers to help us read, review, and evaluate scholarship applications. After all scores have been analyzed independently by volunteers we will convene for group assessments. The total time commitment for this volunteer opportunity is usually around 8-10 hours.
Student Networking Mixer
April 2018 @ Gertz Ressler High School
Have you found networking to be helpful in your career? Help high school seniors learn the art of networking! Come mingle and share your professional experience with our students as they practice this critical skill before they embark on their college journey.
Mentor a Student
For more than two decades, the Fulfillment Fund has matched students with caring, committed adult mentors who help support our students on their paths to high school graduation and a successful transition to college. Mentors are thoughtfully paired with their student and receive support and guidance from Fulfillment Fund staff throughout the mentoring relationship. Visit our mentor page for more information.
Organize a Donation Drive
With student events and programs running year round, we are searching for in-kind donations of items needed to support these programs. Examples include gifts for student raffles (restaurant gift cards, electronics, tickets to sporting events or shows), food & beverage (water, breakfast items, healthy snacks), and school supplies (pens, paper, books). If you have something you're interested in donating, please see our Wish List for more information.
